Stone window restoration in Broadstairs, Kent
The work undertaken on this Arts and craft period house was to survey and supply the Portland stone which was worked by our in-house stonemasons who carefully removed and replaced with new.
The stones that were replaced were heavily weathered cills, jambs, mullions and transoms, along with some mortar repairs. This project had its challenges as most restoration projects do, but with our skilled and experienced craftsmen these where over come while the resident was still living in the house.
The Project took 10 weeks from start to finish.
